Creative Thinking in the Booth
The same old thing for a photo booth can get old over time, but the really great thing about photo booths is their versatility. Think about it, there's so many customizable features on a photo booth that can be changed with little trouble. The idea below is one that I've really been enjoying experimenting with. It's very simple to make a new cover for the booth. All it really requires is some fabric, a theme, and minimal time to put something together that changes the whole vibe!

Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber in the Booth
I've been harping on a similar topic for a while hear, but today I'll continue to do so. People. Love. Photo booths! It's true. They have for centuries and they still do today. Even celebrities love photo booths. Today's picture comes from an overly passionate Justin Bieber with his old lover, Selena Gomez. If you rent a photo booth, it might not get you a love like this one, but it's a worth a shot.

Picture Jungle Where Dreams Are Made Of
We like to have features here at the blog where we check out photo strips from celebrities. That's right, it turns out they like photo booths like everyone else. Here's one from Ms. Alicia Keys. She says it best when she calls the booth a "picture jungle where dreams are made of, there's nothing you can't do, now you're in the photo booth." Cheers to Alicia Keys and her fantastic pipes!

Buster... Booth?
Normally i would save something like this for our monthly edition of "Celebs in the Booth." But do you know what booth rhymes with? BLUTH! That's right. I think that's reason enough to post it before it's due time. Tony Hale is brilliant in front of the video camera, but also in front of the photo booth camera. Check out this photo and tell me in isn't funny!

Gatsby-Style Backdrop
For all you kids out there having these Gatsby-style speakeasies, here's a few tips for backdrops if you're having a photo booth at the event. First off you don't have to spend much money to get a great backdrop. My two favorites are old paisley wallpaper or gold streamers. Both of these will do the trick with no dent in your budget. Here's a picture to show you that i know what i mean. Next time you have a speakeasy in Maryland, try these tips.

Out to Sea on a Photo Booth!
We've been hard at work here trying to find the cutest photo booth ideas for you! This week's winner is what i like to call "Out to Sea on a Photo Booth." Sure you can rent a photobooth, it's definitely a great option for a lot of events. But it's also simple enough to make your own backdrop, set up an iphone stand, and make your own photo booth if it's a casual event. If you decide to do so, this picture below is a great idea. It's nice having a themed backdrop because it acts as a prop itself and you cut down on the number props you provide. This way you only having to worry about providing a few sailor themed items, sit back, and let the booth do the work!

Pirates in the Booth!
G'day folks and welcome to this weeks photo booth blog. This week's edition: Pirate's in the Booth! Today we're take a look at some great prop ideas with a pirate theme. Have you ever been a photo booth and just wanted to put on an eye patch, but to your dismay there is not one to be found? I have. That's why i'm spreading awareness. How will people know that they need more pirate costumes and weddings, birthdays, etc. if no one is raising awareness? Check out these pics below and if nothing else, hey... at least now ya know.

Personalized Photo Strip Logos
Most photo booth companies offer to customize the logo that prints at the bottom of photo booth strips. This is especially important for a wedding where you want to have the names of the couple and the date printed. While the company might make a decent logo, they'll often let you make your own and send it in. It's very simple to make a really cool logo using PhotoShop as well as some cheaper programs. If you're looking to have a photo booth at your wedding soon, think about making the logo yourself!

Beauty & the Booth
Maryland is a great state. "Why?" you might ask. I would be quick to reply "Because we are home to the city that never sleeps... Annapolis." Day and night there is city life pulsing through Annapolis, but that's not all. There are boats and docks and cute little shops and restaurants. There is always a wedding or event going down. Sometimes there a photo booths and cotton candy. You never quite know what to expect. Try it for yourself!

Photo Booth Poses #2
As we've been discussing photo booth poses and just you're general presence in the booth, i thought it would be good to discuss little exercises that anyone can practice at home to that you're prepared come time to step into the booth. One of them is just using the photo booth app on your iphone or mac. I would recommend practicing this solo as well as with others. The more you pose the you pro... gress. Get spunky and don't be afraid to take some great pictures.

Best Poses of 2014
A photo booth is a photo booth is a photo booth. That's obvious, but what isn't to some people is that a photo booth is a photo booth only you have some dastardly poses to whip out. Being in the photo business you have the horror of seeing so many photo booth-ees saunter into the booth scared of looking stupid and they let that fear drive them into the ditch. They're generally good people with low confidence. You have to hone the booth, hone your look. Here's a family that knew how to do so. They killed it. Literally.

A Little Bit of Candy Makes It Sweeter!
I came across some pretty interesting photos recently of little oompa loompas in a photo booth. You know? The small minion-like characters from Willie Wonka? Well they're not just in the film anymore, they're everywhere. The were first spotted in China a few months back and when Chinese officials realized what was going on, they had them deported and sent our way. Naturally they have attacked photo booths and are ruining everything. We have to stop them. Rent a photo booth. It's the only way. The more booths we can get out of their hands and into the natives, we will successfully reclaim our nation.
