Pirates in the Booth!

G'day folks and welcome to this weeks photo booth blog. This week's edition: Pirate's in the Booth! Today we're take a look at some great prop ideas with a pirate theme. Have you ever been a photo booth and just wanted to put on an eye patch, but to your dismay there is not one to be found? I have. That's why i'm spreading awareness. How will people know that they need more pirate costumes and weddings, birthdays, etc. if no one is raising awareness? Check out these pics below and if nothing else, hey... at least now ya know.

Personalized Photo Strip Logos

Most photo booth companies offer to customize the logo that prints at the bottom of photo booth strips. This is especially important for a wedding where you want to have the names of the couple and the date printed. While the company might make a decent logo, they'll often let you make your own and send it in. It's very simple to make a really cool logo using PhotoShop as well as some cheaper programs. If you're looking to have a photo booth at your wedding soon, think about making the logo yourself!

Halloween Props!

With Halloween just around the corner, who wouldn't love a photo booth to capture all the costumes! I found some really fun props on Pinterest that would work for both kids and adults.

 

These little stick props would be an awesome addition to any photo booth session. You could also add a fun backdrop with cob webs and everything else creepy. Mixing and matching props to add to your costumes and make them that much more ridiculous. 

Disney Props...

I was looking through Pinterest and I came across these... Are you kidding?! I've seen millions of props but everyone would recognize these. So clever!

 Photo booths these days wouldn't be the same without some awesome props. Definitely go through and take the time to figure out perfect props to go with your event. These would work with any girls party.

So many props not enough time!

Props can definitely make the picture. But when is enough enough? These guys have taken it to the next level by using probably every prop available. People should take more advantage of the props! Yeah its always nice to have a good picture of you and your significant other but how much cooler is it to have a fun photo booth session with them!

Next time you are at an event that has a photo booth utilize those props. They aren't just there to look good! You can never be to old or too cool to look silly.

Printable Photo Booth Props

Professional photo booth companies will have their own high quality photo booth props (at least they should). Those props will use professional grade dowel rods and high quality stiffened felt or an equivalent material for the actual prop. But what about the DIYers? Where can you get your hands on some inexpensive props for your wedding, party or event?

The answer seems to be printable photo booth props.

There are many sources online for free printable props, if you just search for them. If those don't work for you, consider spending a little bit of money for ones you find on ETSY. There are tons of handmade shops who design printable props at very reasonable prices.
