Halloween Props!

With Halloween just around the corner, who wouldn't love a photo booth to capture all the costumes! I found some really fun props on Pinterest that would work for both kids and adults.

These little stick props would be an awesome addition to any photo booth session. You could also add a fun backdrop with cob webs and everything else creepy. Mixing and matching props to add to your costumes and make them that much more ridiculous.

Props, drops, and set pieces!

Here we have a perfect example of a really fun addition to the photo booth family. Sure props are fun and back drops add a little something to your booth but this might just take the cake!

I was looking through Pinterest and I just couldn't help myself. This is just hysterical. I love seeing events going above and beyond what the norm is and taken their photo booths with them.

Photo strips used for decor in your living space

I like the idea of using photo booth strips outside of just the night of the event. This picture I found on Pinterest is a perfect example. So simple. Modern and minimalist approach but I still think its a cute idea. You could use them in decor through out a living space or even an event. Either way, photo booths and the strips they produce are quite awesome.

Disney Props...

I was looking through Pinterest and I came across these... Are you kidding?! I've seen millions of props but everyone would recognize these. So clever!

Photo booths these days wouldn't be the same without some awesome props. Definitely go through and take the time to figure out perfect props to go with your event. These would work with any girls party.

Back to school

Back to school means picture day! Wouldn't picture day be way more fun if it was a photo booth? I mean aside from the little black combs you get its not much fun at all. You have to stand in line with the entire school and wait around for some lame person to take your picture. The laser background in blue, red, green, purple, or teal isn't helping either.

Come on! This little guy couldn't possibly be more excited about getting his picture taken with this DIY photo booth set up.  Its just too cute.

So many props not enough time!

Props can definitely make the picture. But when is enough enough? These guys have taken it to the next level by using probably every prop available. People should take more advantage of the props! Yeah its always nice to have a good picture of you and your significant other but how much cooler is it to have a fun photo booth session with them!

Next time you are at an event that has a photo booth utilize those props. They aren't just there to look good! You can never be to old or too cool to look silly.

For the creative romantic photo booth lover

Not sure how to pop the question? This guy I found on Pinterest used photo booth strips! Its such a mushy, cute, and romantic way to use the strips. Like I have mentioned before the idea of using photo booth strips in your event design or for every day design is awesome. Just goes to show you can use a photo booth for any type of event in your life.

How to share your photo strips!

Can't even get over this idea. Guest books have just become so boring and people rarely fill them out. Why not make it fun?

Have a scrapbook with little stickies by your photo booth have people stick their extra strip in there, and add a little message by it. Simple, cute, and a great keepsake to have always!

Innovative children's back drop

If you look on the internet and search photo booths... I hope you are prepared at what you might find. They have found their way into any type of event and not to mention attract any age.

So you want to have one for a kids party. Trying to get you kid to sit still enough for you to take a "good picture" is just about impossible. Why not have a little fun with it? This set up I feel makes it easy to achieve a great keepsake. Sitting still in a chair isn't what kids want. They want to be superheros! Make their day by setting up this little back drop (or should I say floor drop). Sometimes you have to come up with something innovative and think outside the booth.

Lovely Vintage

Photo booths have been around for what seems like forever. Who doesn't like the idea of capturing a special moment. Looking through Pinterest at some vintage photo booth pictures was interesting. Funny how some things don't get old.

Its literally something all ages can enjoy. Young, old, anytime, and any place! I wonder how long these booths took to develop?!

Super into this idea! Photo booths have becoming insanely popular to have at your wedding but you can have them for any event. What a cute idea to have at a kid's birthday party or a bridal or even a baby shower. Check out how cute this set up is I found on Pinterest.

Kids and babies look way more awesome using the props then we do.  This particular one is a DIY! Couldn't get much easier than that! Photo booths don't come much cuter.

I found this to be very unique and inexpensive. This photobooth was made with umbrellas in honor of Mardi Gras. It goes to show that an awesome photobooth is possible with a few common items and a sense of imagination. This is a great idea for state or college themed parties as well, the sky is the limit!

Simple Photobooth Party

Most people think of an exciting photobooth as an elaborate set up, though it may not have the classic look, a simple backdrop can do the trick as well. This idea shows that a classic white backdrop with balloons can make for a fun time!

Awesome Photo Booth Picture Frame Prop

The creativity in the photobooth industry never ceases to amaze us. We've seen props like this before but when we saw this beautiful photo, we just had to share. In lieu of a backdrop, this creative bunch hung a polaroid-esque prop from some trees for what you could imagine produced some awesome photo booth pictures.

The lesson here is, when it comes to your wedding (or party, or event), have fun with it and let your creativity out. If you do, you'll end up with something amazing!

Cool Mobile Photo Booth

What would make a photo booth cooler than it already is? If it was mobile! The Charleston Party Booth has done just that: they have a photo booth built right into a classic van so they can bring the party anywhere they want!

This has given us an idea: the next step is to install photo booth into a helicopter and fly it around, dropping in on any party anytime... actually, we'll have to think that over.

Daily Photo Booth #17 - Tintype Photography

Man, do we wish we had access to this for our photo booths. There is a studio in San Francisco appropriately named Photobooth that takes tintype photographs of its clients. The whole chemical and technical process of tintype photography is complex (and you can watch the process in the below video) but it sure results in a very unique image printed on iron that is both rustic and darkly detailed.

Daily Photo Booth #16 - Chalkboard

Of course the traditional photo booth props like mustaches and hats and boas are fun, but in today's installment of Daily Photo Booth, we're featuring one of the newer favorite props, the chalkboard speech bubble.

Obviously, the nature of the chalkboard allows each guest to craft a new message which can be funny, sincere, or just plain weird or fun. Consider including a chalkboard speech bubble prop the next time you rent a photo booth.

Daily Photo Booth #15 - Kids

What's a good way to make your photo booth pictures instantly cuter? Puppies were a good guess, but the answer is kids with oversized, goofy props.

In today's Daily Photo Booth we can see how the red lips and googly, spider eyes really bring out the cuteness in these two princesses. This just goes to show that a photo booth is a great idea for all ages.

Photo Booth Strips are Timeless

One of the best attributes of a photo booth is the take away. Taking photos are fun, and taking photos in a photo booth can be even more fun, but the ability to take those photos with you right away and keep them as long as you'd like is what makes photo booths so special.

This photo was posted on Reddit in which the caption read, "My grandpa is 90 years old today. Here is a picture, he keeps in his wallet, of he and my grandma on one of their first dates from a film strip photo booth."

How beautiful a story, and how awesome it is that a photo booth memory was made that has lasted that long!!

We seem to be posting about celebrities in photo booths a lot lately. Guess it has something to do with the insane popularity of photo booths and the industry in general. This time, we've got Jessica Biel posing with a fan at the Ciroc The Festival photo booth at the Sundance Film Festival.

Here's a photo from the event. Check out Hollywood Life for the rest of the story.

Are you addicted to Facebook? If so, what better prop to use for your wedding, party, or event photo both than a Facebook like hand?

The coolest thing about this web-related prop is that it is pretty recognizable, considering there are more than 500 million Facebook users. On top of that, and for those who don't know what this little symbol means, a general thumbs-up is always a good thing.

Printable Photo Booth Props

Professional photo booth companies will have their own high quality photo booth props (at least they should). Those props will use professional grade dowel rods and high quality stiffened felt or an equivalent material for the actual prop. But what about the DIYers? Where can you get your hands on some inexpensive props for your wedding, party or event?

The answer seems to be printable photo booth props.

There are many sources online for free printable props, if you just search for them. If those don't work for you, consider spending a little bit of money for ones you find on ETSY. There are tons of handmade shops who design printable props at very reasonable prices.

Wreck-It Ralph Photo Booth

Whether or not you've seen the movie Wreck-It Ralph, you'll appreciate this brilliant advertising for the film. If you like photo booths, you'll love it even more. The geniuses who built this thing found the marketing sweet spot of generating interest, receiving free press, and getting the public invested.

It works like a regular photo booth that turns your image into an 8-bit arcade-style image and emails it right to you. There are more pictures of how it works and you can read more about the booth here

3-D Printing Photo Booth Makes a Little You

One of the coolest things to come about in the past few years in the field of design and engineering is 3-D printing. You can see a cool example here. So as the question goes, what do you get when you cross a photo booth with a 3-D printer?

The answer is one of the coolest photo booth applications we've ever seen. Basically you get inside this thing and take your photos but instead of photo booth strips, you get a 3-dimensional "action figure" of... yourself.

Check out more details here.
